Executive

£185,000 - £195,000

Are you someone who believes in protecting Wales' environment while enabling Wales to thrive?

Natural Resources Wales is looking for a new Chief Executive to lead one of Wales’ most important public bodies at a key moment for the nation’s environment, communities and economy.

Leading a team of around 2,400 colleagues and an annual budget of approximately £300 million, you will drive the delivery of its Corporate Plan and lead the organisation’s transformation into a more agile, outcome-focused and customer-centred organisation, strengthening the pace, consistency and effectiveness of decision-making.

You will balance environmental stewardship with responsible development, helping Wales to thrive while safeguarding its natural resources for future generations.

NRW is looking for an inclusive, inspirational leader with a proven track record at Chief Executive or senior executive level within a large, complex, multi-stakeholder organisation.

You will bring strategic vision, operational excellence, sound judgement and the ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.

If you share NRW's ambition for a more resilient, nature-positive Wales, we would like to hear from you.

For an informal and confidential discussion regarding this opportunity and to receive the Candidate Pack, please contact the team at Goodson Thomas on 029 2167 4422 or info@goodsonthomas.com.
