Are you ready to help shape the future of tertiary education and research in Wales?
Medr is seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer to join its senior leadership team. As a newly established organisation, Medr plays a pivotal role in funding and regulating tertiary education and research across Wales, including further and higher education, apprenticeships, sixth forms, adult learning, and government-funded research and innovation.
This is a unique opportunity to influence the development of a values-driven organisation from the ground up. You’ll work closely with the Chief Executive to lead operational excellence, champion transformational change, and foster a high-performing, inclusive culture. You’ll oversee two directorates, Finance and Digital & Information, and lead their People and Culture and Board Secretariat & Corporate Planning Teams.
They’re looking for a strategic, people-centred leader with experience in organisational development, governance, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll bring fresh thinking, high standards, and a collaborative spirit to help them deliver on their ambitious goals for Wales’ tertiary education and research sector.
