Menter a Busnes, an independent, not-for-profit company dedicated to empowering Welsh businesses, is looking for a Director of Communications and Marketing to join its Leadership Team.
With a committed workforce of c.170 individuals working across five offices in Wales, Menter a Busnes offers consultancy services, expert commercial support, and fosters collaborative networks across various sectors. Operating on a pan-Wales basis, with additional reach into the UK and Europe, the company upholds excellence with ISO9001 accreditation, ensuring the highest standards in its services.
The new Director of Communications and Marketing will play a leading role in developing Menter a Busnes’ new Corporate Communications and Marketing Strategy, as well as shaping the Brand and Business Strategy. Enabling teams to share amazing stories, the successful candidate will build a positive Company reputation, showing how Menter a Busnes breeds innovation, how it’s dynamic, takes action, and makes a difference.
A fluent Welsh speaker, you will have:
- Strong influencing skills, particularly in relation to people and performance.
- A successful track record as a senior manager, including specific experience of leading marketing and communications teams directly and through matrix-management, and effectively managing a marketing budget in an organisation of equivalent size or larger.
- A commitment to high quality, customer-centred content and the benefits that flow from a strategic approach to marketing and communications across the business.
- Evidence of using personal influence to improve and innovate marketing and communications performance, particularly at Director and Board-level.
