Cwm Taf Morgannwg Mind is looking for a new Chief Executive Officer to play a key role in ensuring access to mental health and wellbeing services across Cwm Taf Morgannwg, an area that spans Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Bridgend.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg Mind is an independent mental health charity, part of the national Mind Federation, connecting it with 100+ local Mind organisations for collaboration and best practices.

The charity has recently implemented a new organisational structure, establishing a solid foundation for a new CEO to develop a future strategy for Cwm Taf Morgannwg Mind.

You will:

  • Be an experienced and dynamic third sector senior leader who is passionate about mental health support and can drive the organisation onto its next chapter.
  • Inspire the team, volunteers, supporters and stakeholders, and collaborate with the Board, advancing its mission of providing quality mental health services to communities.
  • Have an understanding of good governance and work closely with the management team to deliver the charity’s strategic objectives across all service areas.
  • Have commercial awareness, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.


The charity encourages applicants from Black, Asian, and other minority ethnic backgrounds, as well as communities currently underrepresented in senior positions in Wales.
