Senior HR Business Partner - Organisational Design

WJEC is a leading, high performing and hugely respected awarding organisation that provides internationally recognised GCSEs, AS, A level and vocational qualifications to schools and colleges in the UK. It employs c.400 employees with a turnover of c.£48m. Currently embarked upon an exciting journey of transformation, it is seeking a strong and experienced Senior HRBP - OD to support the Head of HR and colleagues in developing WJEC into an agile, innovative and high-performing body.

 

 

The Role

 

  • Accountable to the Head of HR, you will contribute to the development and delivery of WJEC’s HR, People Development and Organisational Design strategies and work collaboratively with the team to achieve the strategies, which support the overall delivery of WJEC’s business objectives.

 

  • You will provide trusted advice and guidance to the Head of HR and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) on Organisational Development issues. You will be responsible for overseeing projects to improve workforce planning, Organisation Design and Development, succession planning, remuneration, learning and development and leadership development for WJEC.

 

  • You will keep abreast of new developments in Organisation Design and Development and be a champion of change, bringing your expertise and judgement to bear throughout the policy making and people development processes and assisting the Head of HR in driving efficiencies across WJEC.

 

 

The Individual

 

  • Experienced in delivering high quality OD initiatives, you will be familiar with working in partnership with a range of stakeholders including managers, trade unions, employees and external partners.

  • With ability to apply judgement, creativity and flexibility to generate new and innovative ideas and approaches to solve complex problems, you will be experienced in identifying, analysing and taking action to effectively manage risk to meet strategic objectives.
  • Ideally CIPD qualified, you will possess an in-depth understanding and knowledge of current best HR practice and employment law and an ability to apply this according to organisational needs.

  • Yn atebol i'r Pennaeth AD, byddwch chi'n cyfrannu at ddatblygu a darparu strategaethau AD, Datblygu Pobl a Dylunio Cyfundrefnol CBAC ac yn cydweithio â'r tîm i gyflawni'r strategaethau hyn, sy'n cefnogi darpariaeth gyffredinol amcanion busnes CBAC.

 

  • Byddwch chi'n cynghori ac yn cynnig arweiniad y gallan nhw ymddiried ynddo i'r Pennaeth AD a'r Tîm Arwain Gweithredol (TAG) ar faterion Datblygu Cyfundrefnol. Eich cyfrifoldeb chi fydd goruchwylio projectau i wella'r gwaith o gynllunio gweithlu, Dylunio a Datblygu Cyfundrefnol, cynllunio dilyniant, cydnabyddiaeth, dysgu a datblygiad a datblygu arweinyddiaeth i CBAC.

 

  • Byddwch chi'n ymwybodol o ddatblygiadau newydd yn y maes Dylunio a Datblygu Cyfundrefnol, ac yn gweithredu fel hyrwyddwr newid, gan ddefnyddio eich arbenigedd a barn yn ymwneud â phrosesau llunio polisïau a datblygu pobl a chynorthwyo'r Pennaeth AD i ysgogi arbedion effeithlonrwydd ar draws CBAC.
