A newly created role, the Head of Compliance will effectively manage and oversee the firm’s compliance functions and contribute to the commercial success of the business. Technically and interpersonally strong with proven ability to inspire others and drive a culture of compliance across the Firm, the Head of Compliance will join the CEO, Director of Finance & Operations and Head of HR as a member of the Senior Management Team, leading the firm’s achievement of both its strategic and operational objectives.
Reporting to the CEO, you will join the 4-strong Senior Management Team and contribute to the development of the Firm, providing strategic direction on compliance of its current and future ventures.
You will lead on the development of strong compliance culture across the firm through robust internal procedures, risk management and training to ensure firm-wide compliance with all regulatory frameworks and data protection regulations, supporting the Firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice and Anti-Money Laundering Officer.
With proven experience as a compliance manager and in-depth knowledge of the legal industry’s standards and regulations, you will already be operating at Board level or be looking for your first Board appointment.
The role is based in Newport with regular travel to its Cardiff offices. It offers a competitive salary and benefit package.
