Ofcom's mission is to make communications work for everyone.

Its team in Wales is looking for a Senior Welsh Language Manager to lead its work in Welsh, ensuring compliance with Ofcom's Welsh Language Standards. A skilled Welsh speaking individual, you will champion Ofcom's work in the Welsh language across the organisation.

Your role will include ensuring Ofcom's compliance with its Welsh Language Standards and raising awareness of the standards to teams across the organisation; overseeing Welsh language translation of Ofcom documents in line with its approved processes and tight publication timetables; and maintaining and developing the relationship with the Welsh Language Commissioner's office.

The Welsh language is important to Ofcom and the team is proud of its commitment and the way in which it integrates the Welsh language into its day-to-day work.

Ofcom treats the Welsh and English languages equally in its work in Wales and believes its approach makes a positive contribution to the ability of Welsh speakers to engage with communications issues in their chosen language.
