This exciting new opportunity at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water requires an experienced Head of HR, HR Manager or HR Business Partner to provide expert strategic HR support to the Water Business Unit, to empower managers and colleagues to enable effective people management and be responsible for a new way of working across the business.

Welsh Water keep 3 million people healthy each day with safe, reliable water, and take away wastewater to clean, before returning it safely to our beautiful rivers and seas. To be able to deliver high quality, essential services which help to protect the health of our customers, colleagues and our environment, Welsh Water needs the right people to deliver on its vision.

The Head of HR will be a senior HR and OD professional and a key member of the Director's Senior Team, working closely with the HR Operations Team and Centres of Expertise in delivering the strategic workforce agenda.

  • Fully CIPD qualified with extensive experience of working as a HR Manager/HR Business Partner, with an excellent knowledge of current employment legislation.
  • Proven project management expertise, and experience of working within a customer focused HR environment with a proven record of delivering results.
  • A strong customer focused approach to deliver innovative and timely HR solutions, and the ability to present complex information to a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
